Math and Reading Tutoring Services
(This service is for children or young people who need assistance in reading, writing, math, phonics, or grammar)
Initial Consultation:
This service includes basic assessments to determine what skills your child needs to learn. It also includes an overall six week learning plan to build skills, including suggestions and an overall plan for improving reading or math skills using a variety of interventions and programs.
Price- $50 for one hour of assessments and learning plan
Tutoring:
Using the learning plan I create, I will work with your child either once or twice a week for one hour each session to build their skills. Programs and methods use will depend on the child, and what skills need to be increased. This session can take place in your home, at a library, or at my home. Please note that I have a small dog, so children with allergies should not plan to receive tutoring in my home.
Price- $30 an hour for one session per week, or $50 for two one hour sessions per week.
Behavioral Consultation
This service is designed for children with in home behavior difficulties, homework challenges, or general difficulties getting along in the world around them. I will work with your child 1:1 to determine what social emotional skills need to be taught, and will work with you, their parents, to help them succeed. This service may include attendance at meetings in needed, setting up systems in your home, or consulting with teachers to help your child be successful!
Price- $40 an hour
